Reading Corner :: Romantic Gift Ideas for Any Occasion
Romance shouldn't be reserved for just special occasions. So,
don't wait for your anniversary or Valentine's Day to roll
around to spice things up. Acting on a romantic impulse or
giving the one you love an unexpected gift can breathe new life
into a relationship. Proclaim your love with one of these
romantic gift ideas:
Basket full of Romance: Have a basket full of romance waiting on
the bed for them when they arrive home. Fill the basket with
sensual massage oil, a bottle of champagne, fresh strawberries,
dipping chocolate and a candle. Sprinkle rose petals around the
basket for a final touch.
Romantic Game: There are many games out there geared towards
lovers. These intimate play sets help enrich and enhance
relationships and are a lot of fun to play. Look for Strip
Chocolate Checkers, An Enchanted Evening and Romance Tonight
Dice.
Candlelit Dinner: Arrange a candlelit dinner for two at your
favorite bistro or restaurant. Have a bottle of their favorite
wine and a special gift waiting for them on the table. There's
definitely romance on the menu tonight!
A Naughty Book: Books are all-time favorite gift and your lover
is sure to enjoy one that's a little on the naughty side. Amazon
has a huge selection including The Ultimate Guide to Sex, the
Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex and the Complete Illustrated
Guide to Karma Sutra.
Tub of Fun: When arriving home for the evening, hand the one you
love a gift bag. Inside include a big bottle of bubble bath,
baby oil, floating candles and sponges. If they still don't get
the hint, take them by the hand and lead them to the bathtub.
Framed Portrait: You can never go wrong with the gift of photos.
So have a special picture of the two of you custom framed and
engraved, if possible. Surprise them by hanging it up or
displaying it somewhere that they're sure to see it. It will be
a wonderful surprise!
Messages of Love: Leave that special someone love notes and
messages everywhere they go. Start by writing a special quote on
the bathroom mirror using toothpaste or lipstick. Write I Love
You on the rear-view mirror of their vehicle. Use sticky notes
to strategically place messages all around the house or office.
Hopefully you'll put one of these romantic gift ideas to good
use sooner than later. Don't be shy. A little passion can go a
long, long way... Have fun!
